Acting President Extends Congratulations to Norway’s New King

Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended his warm congratulations and best wishes to King Haakon VIII of Norway on his accession to the throne. In his letter to the new King, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani reaffirmed the longstanding bonds of friendship and mutual respect between Pakistan and Norway.

According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani expressed confidence that the warm and cordial relations between the two countries and their peoples would continue to deepen and strengthen in the years ahead.
