Activist Disassociates from Banned Joint Awami Action Committee, Denounces Violence

Azad kashmir: An activist from the banned Joint Awami Action Committee has announced his disassociation from the group and expressed support for the decision to declare the organization illegal. The activist voiced his condemnation of the violent incidents associated with the committee.

According to Radio Pakistan, the activist emphasized that the movement, which initially aimed to secure basic rights, has now veered towards violence. He highlighted that the actions of the Joint Awami Action Committee have led to the tragic loss of human lives.

He urged the residents of Azad Kashmir to refrain from participating in the banned organization’s calls for violent protests. Furthermore, the activist appealed to the Joint Awami Action Committee to forsake violence and pursue dialogue and negotiations as a means to resolve issues.
