Karachi, May 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhu met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori at Governor House. In the meeting, measures to control street crimes, improvement of monitoring system through surveillance cameras and further promotion of community policing were discussed.
Governor Sindh said that the security of cattle market should be increased, patrolling on cattle market routes should also be increased. Governor Sindh further said that further increase in community policing is the need of the hour, through which street crimes can be controlled. The image of the police, not the public, should be improved so that the public will fully cooperate with it.
