Advisor on Aviation underlines need for growth, expansion of Aviation Industry

Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation, Retired, Air Marshal Farhat Hussain Khan, has underscored the imperative need for growth and expansion of aviation industry, particularly in the domain of manufacturing, with ultimate goal of bolstering foreign exchange earnings.

During a recent podcast interview conducted by the News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan, the Adviser expounded upon the strategic discussions aimed at advancing the aviation sector.

He elucidated that a central objective of these deliberations is aimed at fostering of research and development activities within the Aviation Industry. The global aviation sector, he noted, plays a pivotal role in contributing to the overall GDP growth, adding that this phenomenon is observed in all developed nations where a substantial portion of revenue is derived from the Aviation Industry.

Furthermore, the Adviser emphasized a comprehensive strategy designed to address the escalating demands for pilots both regionally and internationally.

Farhat Hussain Khan said this strategic plan entails efforts to reduce training costs for aspiring pilots while simultaneously facilitating financial support through funding and scholarships to students pursuing aviation education.
