Islamabad: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has called for the modernization of Sialkot’s industries through technology and increased exports. Addressing the German-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sialkot, he highlighted the importance of adopting modern technology to ensure the competitiveness of Pakistani industries.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that Pakistan and Germany have enjoyed longstanding diplomatic relations, with both nations soon celebrating 75 years of bilateral relations. The minister underscored the potential for Pakistan to significantly boost its exports by introducing new products and brands to international markets.
Ahsan Iqbal’s address focused on the need for Pakistani industries to innovate and embrace modern technological solutions. He noted that by doing so, industries in Sialkot could enhance their output and quality, positioning themselves better in the global market.
