Polling for Third Phase of AJK Legislative Assembly Elections Set for Monday

Islamabad: Polling for the third phase of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections is scheduled to be held in four constituencies of Bagh and Haveli districts tomorrow [Monday].

According to Radio Pakistan, the AJK Chief Election Commissioner, Retired Justice Mustafa Mughal, announced that polling in the remaining seven constituencies has been postponed due to the prevailing law and order situation. A new schedule for these constituencies will be announced at a later date, ensuring that the electoral process continues smoothly once conditions stabilize.

Election staff and polling materials have already been dispatched to the designated polling stations in the respective areas. The authorities have taken comprehensive security measures to ensure the peaceful conduct of the polling process, aiming to facilitate a smooth and orderly election for the constituencies involved.
