Ahsan Iqbal Commits to Security for Chinese Nationals in Pakistan

Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the safety of Chinese nationals working in the country during a meeting on Friday. The session primarily focused on ensuring the ongoing success and development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting addressed various critical issues still pending in the development of the Gwadar Free Zone. Discussions included improvements to infrastructure such as water, electricity, gas, and the sewerage system. Additionally, topics related to the operational dynamics of the Gwadar Port, the adjacent Free Zone, and the Gwadar Safe City Project were also explored.

Minister Iqbal stressed the importance of these developments in fostering a safe and conducive environment for international collaborations, particularly emphasizing the strategic partnership between China and Pakistan.
