Aid Shipment to Beirut Dispatched from Islamabad

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched its 18th consignment of aid from Islamabad International Airport to Beirut, Lebanon. This latest shipment is part of ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the consignment comprises 95 tons of supplies, including winterized tents and blankets. This initiative follows directives from the Prime Minister of Pakistan, emphasizing the country’s commitment to supporting the war-affected people of Gaza and Lebanon.

The sendoff ceremony took place at Islamabad International Airport and was attended by notable figures, including MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan, Lebanese Ambassador Ghassan Al Khatib, and representatives from NDMA and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
