Air Chief Pledges to Strengthen Military Ties with Bangladesh

Islamabad: In a bid to bolster military cooperation, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing military ties with Bangladesh during a meeting with a high-level defense delegation led by Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting focused on increasing collaboration through joint training initiatives between the two Air Forces. Both parties expressed interest in exploring further avenues for cooperation, including exchange initiatives and joint training.

Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan praised the innovative projects and indigenously developed technological advancements of the Pakistan Air Force. He showed particular interest in the sophisticated military hardware being developed, such as the JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.

The discussions between the Air Chief and the Bangladeshi defense delegation underscore a mutual commitment to fostering robust relations and collaboration in military endeavors between the two nations.
