Golcuk: Pakistan Navy Ship PNS Yamama has made significant strides in enhancing naval cooperation with Turkiye by visiting the ports of Gölcük and Aksas. The visit, marked by a joint naval exercise, underscores the commitment of both nations to bolster their maritime operational capabilities.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the PNS Yamama was welcomed by officials from the Pakistani Embassy and the Turkish Navy upon its arrival. The visit featured a significant engagement, as Vice Admiral Ibrahim Ozden Kocer, the Deputy Commander of the Turkish Naval Fleet, toured the Pakistani vessel.

During his visit, Vice Admiral Kocer received an in-depth briefing on the capabilities of PNS Yamama. This interaction is part of a broader initiative to foster stronger ties between the two naval forces.

A key highlight of the visit was the naval exercise Mavi Vatan, conducted between PNS Yamama and Turkish Navy ships. The exercise aimed to enhance mutual cooperation and joint operational abilities, reflecting the strategic maritime relationship between Pakistan and Turkiye.
