The AJK Cabinet has paid rich tribute to Prime Minister Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for vociferously raising the longstanding issue of Kashmir at the United Nations General Assembly session.
The cabinet meeting headed by AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan held in Islamabad on Tuesday said announcing clear diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiris for their right to self-determination has given a new momentum to the liberation movement.
The cabinet clarified that without resolving the core issue of Kashmir, durable peace in South Asia cannot be maintained.
The cabinet adopted a number of resolutions expressing full confidence over the leadership of ex-Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and continuation of his development policies in AJK.
Through a resolution, tributes were paid to the martyrs of Indian firing on Line of Control.
