AJK People Express Resentment Over Awami Action Committee Protest

Islamabad: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the people are expressing resentment over the protest by the banned Awami Action Committee, terming it harmful for tourism and the economy. Residents of Neelum Valley and other popular tourist destinations have voiced concerns that repeated strikes and protest activities have severely affected tourism and the local economy.

According to Radio Pakistan, individuals associated with hotels, guest houses, and tourism-related businesses have reported substantial financial losses due to the prevailing uncertainty. They are urging the government to implement effective measures to maintain law and order, thereby restoring economic activity in the region.
