Legal Fraternity Rejects Violent Protests of Banned JAAC

Islamabad: The legal fraternity has also rejected the violent protests of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee, like other sections of society. President of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Supreme Court Bar Association, Raja Aftab Ahmed Advocate, has said that the elements involved in disturbing the peace of the state should immediately lay down their arms and surrender before the law.

According to Radio Pakistan, Raja Aftab Ahmed Advocate emphasized that individuals involved in armed attacks, damaging public property, and causing loss of life will be held accountable before the law. He announced that the AJK Supreme Court Bar Association will provide legal assistance in the courts of Azad Kashmir to such individuals, provided that they surrender themselves before the law.

Raja Aftab further stated that the miscreants of the banned Joint Awami Action Committee are also committing grave crimes.
