Ali Pervaiz Stresses Specific Targets for Phased Oil Sector Deregulation

Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has emphasized the establishment of specific targets and milestones for the phased deregulation of the oil sector. He was chairing the fifth meeting of the Prime Minister’s Petroleum Pricing Committee in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that Oil Marketing Companies should be made responsible for the end-to-end digitalization of the petroleum supply chain. He informed the meeting that a dashboard displaying daily petroleum prices, the pricing formula, and Platts data has been made active on the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) website to enhance transparency.
