Ali Pervaiz Vows to Harness Pakistan’s Hydrocarbon Potential

Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to harnessing Pakistan’s hydrocarbon potential. Talking to the US Charg© d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker in Islamabad, he emphasized opportunities for international cooperation and investment in the oil, gas, and mineral sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ali Pervaiz Malik welcomed the strong interest of US investors in Pakistan’s energy sector. He stated that the government is conducting a bidding round for onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration blocks, presenting a significant opportunity for international partners to invest.

The US Charg© d’Affaires mentioned the keen interest of US companies in Pakistan’s oil, gas, and mineral sectors, aligning with President Donald Trump’s vision. She assured that the US Embassy will facilitate direct connections between American and Pakistani companies in the exploration and production sectors.
