Pakistan, China, Afghanistan Commit to Strengthening Joint Efforts Against Terrorism in Kabul

Kabul: The Sixth Trilateral Foreign Ministers Dialogue was held in Kabul, bringing together representatives from Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan to discuss key issues of mutual interest. The meeting included Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and Afghanistan’s Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the dialogue focused on enhancing political, economic, and security cooperation among the three nations. A significant part of the discussion was dedicated to reinforcing their collective commitment to combat terrorism. The foreign ministers also emphasized the importance of deepening collaboration in various sectors, including trade, transit, regional development, health, education, and culture. They also addressed the pressing issue of drug trafficking and discussed the potential extension of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to Afghanistan.
