All People, Livestock Rescued in Sheikhupura: Tanveer

Sheikhupura: Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain has announced that all individuals and livestock in the Sheikhupura district have been successfully rescued, with no reported loss of life.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister made this statement while speaking to the media after visiting a flood relief camp in Sharaqpur. He reported that eight to ten nearby villages have been adversely affected by the recent floods. Despite the challenging conditions, the Minister assured that all flood-affected residents would receive the necessary rehabilitation support.

Rana Tanveer Hussain further highlighted that there is significant flooding in the Chenab, Sutlej, and Ravi rivers. However, he emphasized that all relevant agencies are actively engaged in relief efforts across the impacted regions.
