Ambassador Tirmizi Pays Tribute to Prince Karim Aga Khan IV in Dubai

Dubai: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, visited the Ismaili Centre in Dubai to offer condolences following the passing of His Highness Prince Karim Al-Hussaini Aga Khan IV. On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, Ambassador Tirmizi honored the life and legacy of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV, recognizing his global contributions and unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Ambassador Tirmizi acknowledged the profound impact that Prince Karim Aga Khan IV had on Pakistan, particularly through the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). The network has been instrumental in socio-economic development efforts across the country, benefiting underprivileged and vulnerable communities.

During the visit, Ambassador Tirmizi was welcomed by Mr. Khalil Feroz Muhammad, Vice President of the Ismaili Centre Dubai, along with Mr. Akbar Verjee, Head of Diplomatic Relations, and Mr. Hassan Vellani, a senior representative of the Ismaili community. Together, they reflected on the life and achievements of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV.

Ambassador Tirmizi also recorded his condolences in the official condolence book at the Ismaili Centre. He expressed that the passing of Prince Karim Aga Khan IV is a significant loss for the global community and emphasized that his legacy would continue to inspire efforts towards a more equitable and compassionate world.

The Embassy of Pakistan in the UAE extended its deepest sympathies to the Ismaili community, the Aga Khan family, and all those mourning the loss of this extraordinary leader.
