Pakistan Averted Default Through Strategic Efforts, Says Minister

Islamabad: Pakistan has successfully avoided default, thanks to determined efforts and significant political decisions, according to a government official.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister for Planning and Development, underscored these achievements during a ceremony in Islamabad celebrating the government’s completion of one year in power. The event, titled ‘Day of Development and Progress,’ highlighted various initiatives aimed at fostering national growth.

Iqbal introduced the ‘Uraan Pakistan’ program, which aspires to transform Pakistan into a prosperous nation by 2047. A key component of this initiative involves sending 200,000 young individuals to China annually for training in Information Technology.

Furthermore, the government plans to enhance the agriculture sector by dispatching 1,000 researchers to China next month for specialized training. This move is aimed at ushering in a green revolution within the country.

Efforts to reform the energy sector were also noted, with steps being taken to make it more efficient and sustainable through green energy solutions. In addition, the government has set an ambitious target to elevate the nation’s exports to $100 billion in the near future.

These measures reflect the government’s strategy to bolster economic stability and growth in Pakistan.
