ANF Seizes 1.2 Tons of Hashish in Major Operation Against Drug Network in Gwadar

Gwadar: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has conducted a major operation against an international drug smuggling network in Gwadar.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ANF seized 1.2 tons of drugs and arrested two smugglers during the operation. Sources revealed that the ANF intercepted a truck on the Panjgur-Turbat national highway and discovered the drugs hidden in secret compartments.

The 1.2 tons of hashish recovered in the intelligence-based operation is worth approximately 66.15 million dollars in the global market. During the investigation, the arrested smugglers disclosed that the seized drugs had been smuggled from Afghanistan.

A case has been registered against the arrested smugglers, with efforts underway to apprehend the leader and other members of the network.
