Another Indian college bars 15 students from taking exams

Srinagar, December 21, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the incidents of Kashmiri students being thrown out of colleges inside India continues unabated as one more college has shown door to fifteen students.

The students, pursuing Bachelors in Hotel Management (BHM) at Rawal Institutions Faridabad in the Indian state of Haryana, were barred by the college administration from appearing in the examinations.

The problem has risen out of the denial of scholarship amount by the Indian Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), which first lured intelligent Kashmir students to get admission in different Indian colleges on scholarship and then turn a blind eye to them in the middle.

“We visited their offices thousands of times and every time they assure us that the scholarship would be released in our favour, but that never happened,” said a student at the college.
