Anti-polio campaign to continue with full force: PM

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has reiterated that the anti-polio campaign will continue with full force till the complete elimination of the poliovirus from the country.

He expressed this resolve, while strongly condemning the terrorist attack on the police personnel assigned to protect the polio team in Bajaur.

The Prime Minister prayed for the martyred policemen in the attack and also condoled with their families. He also directed to provide all possible medical assistance to the injured.

Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said the whole nation salutes to polio workers and security personnel. He said terrorists will never succeed in their nefarious designs.

He also urged people not to fall prey to any negative propaganda pertaining to the polio vaccination. He said scholars of the leading Muslim institutions, including the Al-Azhar University of Egypt, have endorsed the anti-polio program.
