APHC-AJK leaders hold meeting with Fahim Kayani in Islamabad

Islamabad, June 26, 2019 (PPI-OT): Raja Fahim Kayani, President Tehreek-e-Kashmir United Kingdom (Tek UK) during a meeting with the leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter underlined the need to step up coordinated efforts to project the Kashmir dispute in its real perspective at the international level.

A statement issued by the APHC-AJK in Islamabad said that the meeting took place at the chapter’s office in Islamabad. During the meeting, Raja Fahim Kayani stressed that the Kashmiris living outside need to advance the Kashmir cause in a more effective way at the diplomatic level by speaking in one voice. He also said that it was the need of hour to bring innovation into our strategy to confront the present and coming challenges with regard to the Kashmiris’ struggle.

Speaking on the occasion, the APHC-AJK Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani said that the Kashmiri people were giving unprecedented sacrifices for the cherished goal of freedom and that these sacrifices would not be allowed to go waste. He said that India despite using all its resources would not be able to suppress the Kashmiris’ urge for freedom. He asked India to accept the ground realities and create conducive atmosphere so that the dispute over Kashmir could be resolved in a peaceful way. He urged the global human rights organizations to take notice of grave rights violations by the Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

The meeting was also attended by Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Mehmood Ahmad Sagar, Rafiq Dar, Shaikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Muhammad Hussain Khatib, Abdul Majid Malik, Abdul Mateen, Muhammad Sultan Butt, Abdul Hameed Lone, Nazir Ahmad Karnai, Zahid Andrabi, Javed Iqbal Butt, Manzoor Shah, Altaf Ahmad Butt, Manzoor-ul-Haq Butt, Mushtaq Ahmad Butt and Imtiyaz Wani.
