APHC (G) threatens to boycott bad-intended survey in IOK

Srinagar, January 31, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (G) has expressed concern over the suspicious survey being conducted by Indian Army and police in the territory. The APHC (G) in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, criticized the question about affiliation with a sect in the survey form. The Hurriyet appealed people to only mention word ‘Muslim’ in the column of sect to convey India a message that the Kashmiris were not ready to be deceived by New Delhi, and were united against its occupation over Jammu and Kashmir.

The statement called upon the authorities to immediately explain about this strange survey or else the people of Kashmir will asked to boycott it. The APHC (G) said the personnel of Indian Army and police during their door-to-door visit ask unnecessary questions and harass the inmates. The statement said that after failing to crush Kashmiris’ freedom movement through policies based on military might, India is now planning to divide them on sectarian lines.
