APHC Urges World To Take Notice Of Economic Strangulation Of Kashmiris In IIOJK

Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyet Conference has termed the attachment of properties and removal of Kashmiri Muslims from government jobs as part of a dangerous plan of the Indian government.

According to Radio Pakistan, APHC spokesman Abdul Rashid Minhas stated that the BJP-led Indian government is attempting to weaken Kashmiris economically and transform them into a minority within the occupied territory. He emphasized that the economic strangulation of Kashmiris through illegal means is intended to replace the indigenous population with non-locals.

Minhas urged global human rights organizations to take effective notice of the situation. He asserted that Jammu and Kashmir can never be integrated into India through parliamentary resolutions, nor can the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiri people be suppressed through such tactics.

APHC highlighted that the BJP Indian government has initiated a campaign, particularly after the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A in August 2019, to further marginalize the majority community in the occupied territory.
