APHC Welcomes Recent Remarks by Pakistan’s COAS on Kashmir

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has warmly welcomed the recent remarks by Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Syed Asim Munir, describing them as a morale booster for the Kashmiris resisting India’s illegal occupation.

According to Radio Pakistan, speaking at the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir had reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri cause.

APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, said that General Syed Asim Munir’s words strongly echoed the long-suppressed sentiments of the Kashmiri people who have endured relentless Indian oppression for over seven decades.
