Srinagar, June 22, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned the arrest of its leaders including Bashir Ahmad Butt, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi,
Muhammad Siddique Shah and Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri. The leaders were on their way to Puchal area of Pulwama to address a public rally and express solidarity with the bereaved families of four boys, Bilal Ahmad, Danish Bhat, Umer Farooq and Lateef Butt of the same village, who were recently killed in a road accident near Pahalgam.
The JKLF spokesperson in a statement in Srinagar said that police laid a siege at Kakapora, arrested the leaders and lodged them at Kakapora police station.
Terming the arrest of party leaders as undemocratic and uncivilized act, he demanded their immediate release.
