Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has stated that the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee will persist in its efforts to restore peace and stability across the nation. Addressing the National Paigham-e-Aman Conference in Peshawar, Ashrafi emphasized the importance of fostering inter-faith harmony within society.
According to Radio Pakistan, Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi highlighted the willingness of the people to make sacrifices for the peace and stability of the country. He underscored the critical role that inter-faith dialogue and understanding play in achieving national harmony and unity.
During the conference, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi also addressed the attendees, calling on Ulema to take an active role in restoring peace and stability in the province. He emphasized the necessity of unity to counteract the divisive tactics of anti-state elements who seek to sow discord and promote hostility within the country.
