Ashrafi demands global legislation to prevent desecration of Holy Scriptures

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi has urged the United Nations to make legislation to stop desecration of Holy Books including the Quran.

Addressing a news conference along with religious leaders in Lahore on Sunday, he said that there will be no compromise on sanctity of the Holy Quran at all.

He said Muslims believe in all divine holy books, prophets, and they want respect for all religions.
