At UN, Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Libya’s Sovereignty

New York: Pakistan has reiterated support for Libya’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity, and national unity. Speaking in the Security Council, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram, emphasized the importance of these principles.

According to Radio Pakistan, Munir Akram stated that Pakistan believes lasting peace and stability in Libya can be achieved by prioritizing free, fair, and transparent presidential and parliamentary elections. He further assured that Pakistan will continue to support Libya and that the Libyan people will find Pakistan to be a steadfast partner in their pursuit of prosperity and development.
