Srinagar, March 10, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly denounced the attack on the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik at the New Delhi airport by activists of Hindu extremist parties, Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on his arrival from Islamabad, the other day. The party spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that attack on the JKLF Chairman was assault on the entire pro-freedom Kashmiri people and termed it the worst kind of terrorism.
He said that it was not the first time that a Kashmiri leader was attacked but prior to it, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, and senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, had also faced such assaults.
The spokesman said that such tactics could not intimidate the Kashmiris into submission as they were determined to take the ongoing liberation movement to its logical conclusion at all costs.
