Auditor General Participates in the 62nd international Organization of Supreme Audit Institution Governing Board Meeting

Islamabad: The Auditor General of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Akhter Buland Rana, is participating in the 62nd Governing Board Meeting of the international Organization of Supreme Audit Institution (INTOSAI) at Vienna from 27-28 October 2011.

INTOSAI is a UN body that comprises 189 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAI).

SAI Pakistan (Office of the Auditor General of Pakistan) was recently elected as member of the INTOSAI Governing Board. The Board reviews progress made by Regional Groups to further Accountability, Transparency and Good Governance.
