Srinagar, August 02 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the forum patronised by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has said that the authorities have imposed more stringent restrictions on Syed Ali Gilani after his speech at Jamia Masjid Hyderpora in Srinagar on July 28.
The spokesman for the forum, Ayaz Akbar in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “Police have locked the gate of Gilani’s residence from outside to curtail the movement of visitors and those who are allowed entry that too only after frisking and questioning.” The spokesman urged the authorities to ease restrictions on the veteran leader, at least, on two holy occasions of Jumat-ul-wida and Eid-ul-Fitr to offer special obligatory prayers.
