Avanceon Limited Cancels Extraordinary General Meeting and Share Capital Increase Proposal

Karachi, Avanceon Limited has announced the cancellation of its scheduled Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) and the proposed increase in authorized share capital. The decision was made by the company’s Board of Directors through circulation.

The EOGM, which was originally set to take place on 22 June 2023, will no longer be held as a result of the board’s decision not to proceed with the increase in authorized capital. The proposed capital increase aimed to support Avanceon’s future growth plans and strategic initiatives.

Furthermore, the close period that had been determined for the EOGM, spanning from 15 June 2023 to 22 June 2023, has also been canceled. The close period was meant to restrict the trading of Avanceon’s shares to ensure fair treatment of all shareholders during the decision-making process.

The cancellation of the EOGM and the share capital increase proposal reflects a shift in Avanceon’s strategic priorities or an alteration in the company’s financial plans. The decision may impact the company’s stakeholders, including shareholders, who were expecting to participate in the meeting and provide their input on the proposed capital increase.
