Awami Action Committee Mourns Loss of Prominent Figures in Kashmir

Srinagar: The Awami Action Committee (AAC), led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, is in mourning following the recent deaths of several notable members associated with the organization and the Mirwaiz family in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, the AAC has issued statements of deep sorrow and extended condolences to the families of the deceased. Among those recently passed are Moulvi Abdul Rashid Farooqi, a respected scholar from Buchpora, Srinagar, and the younger brother of the late Moulana Nooruddin Farooqi, former president of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith. The community also lost Habibullah Khan from Sheikh Mohalla Maharaj Ganj and Jan Muhammad Mir from Beron Kathi Darwaza, both of Srinagar.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the AAC honored these individuals for their significant contributions to society, offering special prayers for their forgiveness and entry into Jannat-ul-Firdous. Additionally, AAC delegations visited the families of the deceased in Buchpora, Maharaj Ganj, and Kathi Darwaza to express their condolences and support during this difficult time.
