Azad Kashmir President meets the Prime Minister

Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House here this evening.

The President said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir was heart warming and has very good impact among the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and also across the LOC. The President particularly mentioned the naming of Mir Waiz Muhammad Farooq Shaheed Medical Collage in Muzaffarabad which he inaugurated during his recent visit.

The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir said that opposition parties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir also took the visit of the Prime Minister in good spirit and there was no criticism, whatsoever, from the opposition political leaders.

The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the political environment in Azad Jammu and Kashmir where political maturity was evident all around during his visit. He said that Kashmir cause was the basis of PPP manifesto and democratic government would spare no effort to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their right struggle determine their future according to their aspiration.

The Prime Minister said that Cadet Collage in Mirpur and IT University in Rawlakot would go a long way to bring a positive change in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir and also create thousands of job opportunities for the youth.
