Balochistan Govt Allocates Rs16.4bn for Health Sector Development

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan is making concerted efforts to enhance healthcare facilities for residents in remote areas of the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, the provincial government is extending full support to the newly established cancer hospital and trauma centre in Quetta. Additionally, burn units have been established in the districts of Loralai and Khuzdar to address specific medical needs. Intensive Care Units have also been set up in the districts of Nasirabad and Zhob to facilitate access to quality healthcare services. In a significant move, the government has allocated 16.4 billion rupees for the development of the health sector in the current financial year’s budget.
