Rawalpindi: A high-level Bangladeshi military delegation, led by Lt. Gen. S.M. Kamrul Hassan, Principal Staff Officer of Bangladesh’s armed forces division, met with Pakistan’s Secretary of Defence, Lt. Gen. Muhammad Ali (Retd), at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi. The visit marks a significant step towards bolstering defense ties between the two nations.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Pakistani defense secretary warmly welcomed the delegation, underscoring the importance of Pakistan’s relationship with Bangladesh. Lt. Gen. Hassan conveyed greetings from the Bangladeshi people and highlighted Bangladesh’s eagerness to foster stronger cooperation with Pakistan.

The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral defense cooperation across various domains.
