Bank Alfalah’s Islamic Banking Arm Clinches Two Global Awards

Islamabad: Bank Alfalah Islamic has secured two prestigious awards at the 2025 Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA), recognizing its position as a leading force in the Islamic finance sector. The bank’s Islamic banking division won “Best Bank for Islamic Window Business” and “Excellence in Shari’ah Assurance,” highlighting its dedication to growth, innovation, and adherence to Islamic principles.

The 15th annual GIFA ceremony, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, gathered over 50 prominent figures from the global Islamic finance community. The event, attended by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, honored achievements across various sectors, emphasizing social responsibility, Shari’ah compliance, and a lasting commitment to Islamic banking and finance. The awards were presented by former Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu.
