Karachi Stock Exchange Soars: KSE-100 Index Jumps 1.14%

Islamabad: The KSE-100 index experienced a substantial surge on September 18, 2025, closing at 157,953.47, a notable increase of 1,775.65 points, representing a 1.14% gain.

This upward movement follows the previous day’s closing value of 156,177.82. Throughout the trading session, the index fluctuated between a high of 158,082.55 and a low of 156,978.85.

The KSE-30 index also demonstrated positive momentum, rising by 520.47 points (1.09%) to settle at 48,198.94.

Trading activity in the regular market showed a significant uptick, with turnover reaching 1,959,100,058 shares, compared to 1,499,302,473 shares in the preceding session. The traded value in the regular market reached 56,931,158,966, a substantial rise from the previous 48,851,129,550. Market capitalization also saw growth, increasing to 18,541,172,701,562 from 18,357,572,707,091. Futures trading volume reached 358,784,000 shares with a traded value of 12,717,466,790.
