Islamabad: The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) depreciated against major international currencies on September 18, 2025, with the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound all registering gains, according to data released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
The Greenback climbed to PKR 282.50, up from 282.01 the previous day. The Euro also saw an increase, reaching PKR 336.38 from 333.30.
The British Pound appreciated to PKR 388.00, compared to 384.73 on the previous trading day. The Japanese Yen rose marginally, closing at PKR 1.94 from 1.89.
The UAE Dirham and Saudi Riyal also appreciated. The Dirham touched PKR 77.92 from 77.12, while the Riyal increased to PKR 75.85 from 75.20.
Interbank rates saw a slight fluctuation, with the dollar trading between 281.46 and 281.66.
