Belarus and Pakistan Strengthen Bilateral Ties with High-Level Meetings

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar welcomed the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the two officials engaged in discussions centered on enhancing bilateral relations and regional cooperation.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting covered a wide range of topics including bilateral and regional issues, as well as the agenda for the upcoming visit of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to Pakistan. Both sides highlighted the significance of Pakistan-Belarus relations and expressed a shared commitment to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.

The discussions also acknowledged the positive momentum of bilateral exchanges and high-level visits between the two countries, with both ministers expressing optimism that President Lukashenko’s forthcoming visit would further strengthen these ties.

In addition to bilateral matters, the ministers addressed key regional and global developments, notably the situation in the Middle East. Both parties voiced support for the peaceful resolution of conflicts and stressed the necessity for a coordinated approach to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of enhanced cooperation in international and regional organizations to advance shared interests and collaboratively tackle global challenges.
