Belarus-Pakistan Business Forum held in Expo Centre Lahore on 27th September, 2019

Lahore, September 30, 2019 (PPI-OT): In his welcome remarks, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan, H.E. Andrei G. ERMOLOVICH, thanked Trade Development Authority of Pakistan for its support and facilitation in organising the Belarus-Pakistan Business Forum.

The Belarus-Pakistan Business Forum was held on the side-lines of National Exposition of Belarus organised by the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of International Engineering and Machinery Asia Exhibition held in Expo Centre Lahore from 26th – 28th September, 2019. The Belarusian delegation included leading companies of machinery, chemistry and petro chemistry, as well as scientific and technological spheres.

Mian Muhammad Aslam Iqbal, Minister of Industries, Commerce and Investment, Government of Punjab was the Guest of Honour and while addressing the Forum he expressed great hope for increased trade linkages between Pakistan and Belarus in times to come and emphasised the importance which Pakistan attributes to its diplomatic relations with Belarus. The Belarusian company representatives introduced the audience with the technological and industrial potential of Belarus and emphasised the need for closer industrial collaboration between the two countries.
