Benazir Nashonuma Programme tackles health, nutrition challenges: Rubina

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Rubina Khalid has said the Benazir Nashonuma Programme is playing an important role in addressing health and nutrition challenges among the poor.

Talking to Sindh Minister for Health Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho in Karachi, She highlighted that the program is aimed at improving the nutritional status of pregnant women and children less than two years of age.

During her visit to BISP Office in Karachi, Chairperson directed to devise a plan for the commencement of pilot project to enhance handicraft and artisan industry for women.

She said skill development program will enable deserving people to earn livelihood in future.
