Biometric B-Forms for Children Over Ten Introduced by Interior Ministry

Islamabad: The Interior Ministry has announced the launch of biometric B-forms for children over the age of ten, incorporating enhanced security measures, including mandatory fingerprints and photographs, to combat identity theft and related crimes.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this initiative, introduced under the guidance of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, aims to prevent the misuse of children’s identity information and address issues such as the issuance of fake identity cards, illegal passports, and human trafficking. The phased rollout of these special B-forms is scheduled to begin on the 15th of this month.
