BJP Accused of Promoting Religious Extremism in India

Islamabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is accused of fanning the flames of religious extremism and terrorism in India.

According to a statement by Kashmir Media Service, the Hindutva ideology, which is being promoted by the Modi regime, is described as a form of religious terrorism that has the support of the current government.

The Kashmir Media Service claims that the oppression in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) is seen as a practical manifestation of this ideology. The report further states that the history of the BJP and other right-wing Hindu organizations is intertwined with violence and bigotry.

The report suggests that since the BJP came to power, there has been an increase in violence against India’s religious minorities, particularly Muslims. It also accuses the Modi regime of enacting legislation that discriminates against Muslims.
