BJP leader assaults two civilians in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 31, 2023 (PPI-OT): A BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member assaulted and harassed two civilians in Srinagar city. BJP leader Aijaz Hussian and his personal security officers assaulted and harassed the two persons near Sempora chowk in Panthachowk area of Srinagar without any reason.

Aijaz was booked by police after a video in which he and his PSOs was seen manhandling the civilians went viral. Police said the case of assault was filed based on a complaint by two persons namely Nazim Hussain Butt and Imad Ali Mir against the BJP leader.
