Karachi, In a recent announcement, Blessed Textiles Limited has disclosed the cancellation of their scheduled Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) and the decision not to increase the authorized share capital of the company. The board of directors made these determinations during their meeting held on June 16, 2023.
The proposed increase in authorized share capital, which was slated to be approved during the EOGM planned for June 23, 2023, has been officially abandoned. Additionally, all other agenda items that were intended to be addressed at the EOGM have been withdrawn. These items will be reconsidered by the board of directors and potentially recommended for discussion at the next general meeting of the company.
Consequently, the EOGM originally scheduled to take place on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 03:30 pm at the registered office of Blessed Textiles Limited located at Umer House, 23/I, Sector 23, S. M. Farooq Road, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, has been called off.
Furthermore, the earlier announcement regarding the closure of the shares transfer book of the company, which was intended for the EOGM from June 17 to June 23, 2023, has also been canceled.
