Boat Tragedy in Pulwama: Two Missing After Capsize Incident

Srinagar, A boat accident in the Hatiwara area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district resulted in the capsizing of a vessel carrying nine non-locals, leading to an ongoing search and rescue operation.

According to Kashmir Media Service, while seven individuals were rescued, efforts continue to locate the two still missing. Local police, along with teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), are intensively searching the area to find the missing persons.

A police officer involved in the rescue operations emphasized the urgency of the situation and the commitment to retrieving the missing individuals. This incident has sparked concerns about safety measures and protocols in place for boat travel in the region.
