Dubai: A delegation from the Bohra business community in the United Arab Emirates met with Hussain Muhammad, the Consul General at the Consulate General of Pakistan, to discuss strengthening trade relations between Pakistan and the UAE. The meeting highlighted opportunities for increasing imports from Pakistan in sectors such as textiles, fresh produce, and gemstones.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan also participated in the discussions. The delegation expressed interest in exploring new trade and investment opportunities, aiming to enhance bilateral economic cooperation.
Consul General Muhammad welcomed the proposals set forth by the delegation and pledged the consulate’s support in facilitating business initiatives. He assured the business leaders of streamlined trade processes to encourage further collaboration.
The Bohra business leaders expressed appreciation for the consulate’s support and voiced optimism about expanding trade ties between Pakistan and the UAE.
